1. Issues with improving processing accuracy: This mainly includes dimensional accuracy and contouring accuracy. There are many factors that affect contouring accuracy, the first being electrode wear. Therefore, for sharp corners, thin sheets, and the main cavity, it is necessary to decompose the processing. This part of the cavity, like a pattern mold, requires a significant increase in pulse width. Using large pulse width and small current processing primarily addresses the requirement for low wear. Secondly, it is important to prevent re-adhesion, especially with graphite. During high-energy processing, careful observation is needed to prevent damage to the geometric shape of the cavity. Additionally, attention should be paid to selecting an appropriate linear (oscillating) trajectory.
